The Expert teams members represent all fields of knowledge in Sustainable Building. They have collected experiences in a range of projects, national and international and were at the roots of many of the leading projects and developments in the Netherlands.
The SBS centre facilitates and combines international activities of a leading group of senior experts in the field of Sustainable Building.
From broad Dutch SB activities, specialised in an environmental approach for buildings, developing and analysing strategies and concepts for design, management and policies, running a Sustainable Building support centre, and connected to Wageningen University.
Started with Energy efficient and Solar architecture, now one of the leading architects in Sustainable building design and construction, focussing on bio climatic architecture. Internationally working with his office, BEAR architects.
Was at the forefront of SB developments in the Netherlands, focussed lately on indoor environment and materials, developing new knowledge and market strategies . Active as private consultant in de Haas & Partners.
Involved in SB from the earliest days, introduced many new approaches and strategies to develop the understanding of SB, now mainly specialised in urban design, as professor EnvironMental Design at Delft University , dept of Architecture.
As one of the SB specialists he managed the process for establishing Ecolonia demonstration project, and since specialised in integrated project and design processes for implementation of Sustainability, as owner of V&L consultants.
Specialist in urban water management, participating in development of new concepts for wastewater treatment, especially decentralised sanitation and reuse. Working with the Urban Environment group,Wageningen University and Lettinga Associates Foundation.
Specialised in policy development and market regulation. Formerly in charge of the European market regulation for labelling and standards for appliances, now operating for national and international clients as Klinckenberg Consultants.
Specialist in Building Physics , and from there in the relation of building’s physical performance with human comfort and energy performance, as Professor at Building Physics at Eindhoven University, dept of Architecture Building and Planning.
Has degrees in communications management and european public affairs, during work specialized in climate & policy issues on both local and international level. Mainly skilled in connecting stakeholders and getting a message across. Based in Vancouver, Canada.
Graduated with a LCA study for different production routes for Hydrogen, specialised as consultant in a Urban approach for energy strategies. Main topics are analyses of Climate adaptation for cities, as well defining road maps for climate neutral cities. Based in Spain.
