SB is out, long live SB !
All team members co-operated in the Dutch Demonstration project Ecolonia, early nineties of last decade. Although at that time not under the name of SBScentre, but their approach and experience started from that project.
ERABUILD is a pan European co-operation between governments and ministries in SB programmes. A key note was given at the start of a brainstorming workshop on future research needs, and several workshop sessions were chaired. A summarized version of the key note is available at their website. Three core members of the Expert team jointly organized the 21st conference of the PLEA association, on Passive and low energy architecture. A series of conferences covering worldwide developments in energy efficiency and architecture, for all regions. The 2004 edition had the overall theme: Built environments and environmental buildings
SBS centre and/or Dutch Expert Team members have operated in many (international) projects, regarding pre-design of projects, concept development, policies development (advising and research), and workshops in different fields. Involvement in a few of the public participations, are described below.
SBS centre, Netherlands, has singed a Memorandum of Understanding , with the Institute of Building research in Shenzhen, PRChina, and with the Sustainable Building Research Center (Founded MEST/KOSEF) of the Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea. Organistations will co-operate in developing sustainable building and mutual support in the introduction.
