The projects you will visit are outstanding in some, or all of the areas of sustainable building and construction. We selected a mix of offices , houses and facilities, of new and refurbished, and urban and rural scale. Some score very high in assessments, some have already won awards.
The Series of workshops will start in Torino, Italy, and continue via overnight stops in Zurich, Ulm and Linz. and ends with a visit of projects in Vienna. Every evening a meeting with local colleagues to exchange ideas and solutions. In between , you will pass 4 countries, and see projects along the road with local guidance .
During the hours in the bus, you will be able to see videos of recent projects and new technologies. The travel time will also be used for short presentation of each others work.. With 24 collegues this can become a very inspiring and interactive "mobile workshop"

The tour/workshop start at the end of the UIA world congress , and the UIA-iiSBE seminar on sustainability of skyscrapers (july 2).

The Group, hotels and bus
The size of the group is limited to maximum 24 participants, to establish easy communication, and visiting projects in 1 group. There is also a maximum of 3 persons from 1 organisation or company , to ensure diversity for discussion and learning.
The coach that will drive us around is a semi VIP bus, with all facilities. The hotels we have selected are always with internet access, to check business or family mail in the evenings.
For the workshop and projects tour from July 3-6, starting July 3, 08.00, including three nights Hotel, dinners, lunches and breakfast, as as well as fees , guidance, documentation, all transport during travelling.
